The company also produces the nationally syndicated television show, "Medical Breakthroughs with Dr. Dean Edell." HealthCentral was acquired in 2005 by Polaris Venture Partners, The Carlyle Group, Sequoia Capital, and Allen & Company. Since then, IAC acquired a significant minority stake in the company.
