Harris-Stowe State University (HSSU), whose roots can be traced back to 1857, has a primary mission of addressing the higher education needs of residents of the St. Louis, Missouri, region. Harris-Stowe State University is an HBCU. HSSU offers over a dozen bachelor’s degree programs such as Biology, Education, Professional Interdisciplinary Studies, and Urban Studies. The university is also home to the Anheuser-Busch School of Business, which offers bachelor’s degrees in various business categories.
