As advocates of self-expression, our Flote Team is personally motivated to help engineer a community network that can ‘self-censor’ through filtering tools managed by individual end users — without imposing political, arbitrary, ambiguous, or unfair restrictions on what members are allowed to share. We also believe that money earned by today’s big-tech social platforms is better shared with content creators and community members themselves, to foster more community innovation, and also incentivize user engagement (which will scale Flote rapidly into a global platform)
